“This place rocks!”

If you like or don't mind RV parks or need a break from the state parks system this is the place. Our site was right on the cliff over looking the ocean. THE VIEW CAN'T BE BEAT. The staff was great. They helped me out when I showed up on the wrong day getting me into another site for the night, they also had no problem letting us st... more

Does not allow Roof Top Tents or Overland Vehicles. I was told I need to remove the tent from on top of my Overland truck to stay there (Tent weighs over 200lbs) I even offered to pay extra for an RV spot and was told I'm not allowed.

“Killer for a private RV park!”

We throughly enjoyed our stay here in February. Killer views up on the bluff and a very pleasant surrounding and vib. Sites are a bit tight but would come back in a heartbeat. Good location to hit northern LA spots including the Getty, Mulholland Highway, Santa Monica, etc. If you arrive early, just hang out along with the beach an... more

We found ourselves in a cold, wet January in SoCal and after a few weeks of "dry" camping (ironically it was anything but dry) we were craving some hookups to get some heat into the trailer and our bones. Hook-ups on the California Coast can get a little pricey, but life is short and views like this don't come along every day, so we de... more

“Good Alternative to LA.”

Reviewed Mar 16, 2016

As we are making our way up the coast of California, we needed a spot near LA. We didn't have any desire to stay in Anaheim so we opted for Malibu. The views are great, but the spaces are small. Also, our spot was in the front, right over PCH. Not much in the way of amenities vs. price, but we did a lot exploring during our visit. Bott... more

This park was the endpoint of our cross-country trip from DC in November 2015. It's high on a cliff overlooking the beach with views of Catalina island and Palos Verdes peninsula, right off the Pacific coast highway. The highway noise is not a bother on the front row, but you still hear the surf, even closed up. The park is very clean... more

“Just not our favorite”

The views here are absolutely stunning without a doubt! But based on what you get for the price, as well as the location, we probably wouldn't stay here again. First, we just didn't love Malibu - we prefer coastal towns with a quaint little downtown area, so that definitely affected our feeling about this location. Second, I would real... more

The waterfront sites at Malibu Beach RV Park are fantastic. The office staff varies. We were greeted by a laid back surfer dude who gave us bad directions to our spot, so that caused for some initial parking frustrations. Once we were situated we were quite happy with the campground. The wifi is spotty. I worked on it maybe 60% of... more
