I have two Aussiedoodles who seem to be a sand-bur magnet, did anyone have this issue here for their dogs?

We were there only one night but in the few times our small dog was out we did not encounter any. We were in S. Padre Island after that and she got some there at Isla Blanca. One thing we found to help was little shoes for her but even they were more of a magnet. We also found that carrying a pair of tweezers kept the burs out of our fingers.

Not so much with our dogs, but our shoes brought in a ton of sand.

Shouldn't have a problem on the beach side. Just keep them out of the brush across the road.

We didn't! The beach is pretty clean and the sand is somewhat course. We have a short long-haired dog and she was fine.

Didn't notice any? Plus there is an area of just beach sand to camp on, no plant life.

No sandburs but lots of sand - which will end up in your rig from time to time!

Sand there is very course and large-grain, more like crushed shells than silicon sand.
