“Free Boondocking On The Beach”

Overall Rating

Up to 14 days free camping, 75’ from the water. Good solid ground to drive and camp on (crushed shells). If no wind, no waves (it’s a bay). But usually wind and waves. Bathrooms were old but clean. Several individual showers but only 1 working. Only choice is cold water. Plenty of dumpsters, and some sites are off the water a little, h... more

“Boondock Right On The Beach For Free!”

Overall Rating

Camp for free up to 14 days. No hook up, but flush bathrooms and showers (only 1 of 4 was working during my stay-cold water only).
Many sites have Ramadas/tables and grass. Lots of trash dumpsters.
The nearest anything is 20 minutes away (as in anything!).
Loved the beach and people.

NOT WORTH THE ONE STAR! The ONLY positive is that you can drive and park on the hard packed beach and that you can look at the water. The bathroom facilities are disgusting. There’s a lot of questionable campers in frightening looking homemade vehicles. It’s pretty lawless. We had to move because the person next to us started swearin... more
