Excellent quiet beach, not crowded. Great sea shell hunting, not great fishing, but a great place to camp.
We pulled in on Monday, left on Friday. Other than a freak cold front, it was the ideal stay.
The beach is nice and level, and the area is well taken care of.

A few generators to contend with, but they didn't run late.
Note: Snow birds don't migrate. They are found in snow. Fellow travelers, please correct our southern neighbors.

Great Boondocking spot, love being right on the water. Having rest room is nice there. If shower were hot, it would be much better. Spent a few days at Lighthouse Park and dumped there.

Quiet for a Saturday. Plenty of space to choose from. 3 bars Verizon. Right on the high water line! Listening to the waves lap is so soothing and peaceful. Quaint little town.

Not much else to add to previous reviews. We dry camped, didn't use the facilities. Not much to do here, it gave us a few days to plan our next move.

If you're planning to spend some time here in your rig, be sure to plan out your dump before you get here if possible. We called around the RV parks in Magnolia Beach and most of them told us no due to city restrictions, but the marina in Indianola provides a dump for $36 (without water). I would recommend Lighthouse Beach in nearby Port Lavaca (a city park) that charges $10. They were closed when we visited so we trekked to Victoria about 35 miles away and found a city park that charges just $2.
Aside from that, it's beach camping...what more could you love?!

Waves are the best to put you to sleep at night! Accommodates any size rig, we saw van campers all the way to huge class A's. Restrooms and showers were clean, we saw several people from the county there on both days taking care of things. Be sure and read the new rules for the beach posted at the entrance and check tide levels (don't want any surprises in the morning). Would definitely stay there again!

I loved it here... very quiet, no partiers. Hard packed sand and you can park just feet from the water. I wish I had taken more advantage of the beach showers. I was there on the weekend and it was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room to spread out. I thought of parking in front of a beach cabana, so I could hang my hammock, but I couldn't hear the waves. enjoyed watching the saltys passing by. I am originally from Duluth, MN and miss the ship traffic. Good Verizon connection and tv connection. Normally, don't check that, but I am currently hurricane dodging,.
