Overall Rating
I pulled in on a Sunday and there were 2 other campers here. A bit warmer than I would like for the end of June. NIce campsites with fire rings, picnic tables and running water. Bathrooms very clean. No camp host on site. The river is just below a few campsites. Ruth Lake is just down the road and totally full, beautiful color of water. There are a couple of campsites down the road as well , one with lake access. There are also a couple of small stores with everything I needed. Found a day spot right on the lake, caught a nice silver salmon. The other campsites down the road were quite crowded but Mad River was quiet and only a few campers so there was definately lots of privacy. No cell service in campground but on the road coming in there was.
