Overall Rating
We have spent the last few 4th of July weeks here after some disappointing events at another nearby State Park. Our site was right on the water with a small dock to fish off of. Plenty of shade during the hot summer. Had a pair of Bald Eagles nesting at the head of the bay we were on. Vault style toilets were very clean and the camp hosts have been great! The park is clean however can be a little dusty. It is a designated ORV park and there are tons of ORV trails around the area. We have never been bothered by them as they have always been respectable to the campers in the park.
We have had Deer walking around with in the campsites, Wild Turkeys and have caught Perch right off the little dock The park is first come first serve and most of the sight are large and separated from each other.
