Overall Rating
We stopped here for one night in the middle of August on our way to the UP. We looped around to try to get a site on the water but they were all taken. We ended up in a corner spot. It was huge and could have easily fit the biggest rig out there. These free-for-all, find our own site, check yourself in and put your money in the box places are great. We did not use any of the facilities so I can't comment on them. There was some trash around our site but we cleaned it up and left it better than we found it. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. It was a fine spot to stay in-transit. It served its purpose as a spot to grill something quick for dinner, have a couple sun-downers, and get some sleep before continuing the adventure east.
Lathe11 would stay here again
