Overall Rating
We arrived during a severe rainstorm that made visibility difficult. As we pulled in there was a huge, deep puddle of water that we hydro-planed in and it made a huge swoosh on our windshield so that we could not see anything for a few seconds. But the rest area is very nice with lots of parking spaces on either side of the restrooms for the smaller rigs. The truck and rv parking is down closer to the highway. Lots of trees to absorb the road noise and make it a peaceful beautiful area. There is a dog area, picnic table, BBQ grills and flush toilets. There is also a viewpoint on the hill above the rest area that you can drive up to from the car side of rest area. We haven't explored it yet, due to the rain.
