“Great quiet and simple USFS campground”

I stayed here for one night on July 14, 2019 with a Class C RV. The price is now $18 ($9 with Senior Pass). The road to the campground is paved except for the last 1.5 miles, and the following dirt road was in very good shape. The sites are large, but almost none is level. Passing thru Durango on my way to Telluride. Not to far off 550 and road up is decent. Paved about 1/2 way back and dirt the rest. But fairly smooth. Came for one night the weekend before Memorial Day. The sites were basic but no one was there which was nice. Campsite was green but the surrounding forest recently had fire damage.
