“Primitive state forest camping”

Overall Rating

This is a typical Minnesota state forest campground: $14 a night, primitive with no running water or electricity, but there's an outhouse, picnic tables, and fire ring. Could have used more privacy. A few of the campsites were quite big. The campground is separate from the boat landing. Gravel roads throughout, in decent shape. There's a trash bin here. No cell service on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, or T-Mobile. Note that this campground is about a minute drive from Owen Lake Campground. Leashed dogs allowed.
