Can't remember exactly where the fenced dog area was (maybe the top of G Loop), but it was all gravel and no shade. Nothing we let our dogs into. We walked them in the campground on leash and then once we left the campground on the nearby trails (outside of the State Parks fencing), we let them off-leash. However, our dogs are very obedient and stay on the trails or very near to the trails and come to our side when other trail users pass by. They have also had rattlesnake avoidance training, which is a must in this area. Have been to the State Park twice and have seen multiple rattlesnakes each time.

Yes. There is a nice fenced dog park near sites 42 and 70.

We camped there a few weeks back - on site 42. The dog park is behind site 42, across the street from the restrooms.

We have little dogs and I never bring them to the dog park areas so I’d call them to find that out. If you can find the campsite map you might see the dog area. If you are experienced and know this ( sorry) but I’m answering as if you are new to rv/ing. This park is fantastic and we can’t wait to go back there. Have a most wonderful stay! We didn’t see any snakes but I believe we were lucky.

There is no dog park. The area in the park is open and abuts the Superstition Mountains boundary which is fenced with barbed wire. But no dog park.
