We also did not use the bathhouse as we used our onboard bathroom. We walked the dog on the paved interior roads and on the grass leading out to the frontage road. There are quite a few long term stays. That doesn't bother me since I am as well, just in a different park. Next time I will bring my ear plugs but the highway noise wasn't really that bad. It was the furnace in the RV next to us is what kept waking me up. We stayed in a truck camper in a pull-thru site.

Stayed 1 Friday night and left next day. The review about road noise was concerning but the park is nestled far enough away from the highway that we did not even notice. Another one of those family owned rv parks that treat you like one of their own!

This is an RV park with paved sites and full hook ups. We had a pull through site on the east side of the park. Because of the proximity to the highway it is not a quiet location.

Used to say here with my parents when they visited me in college (18 years ago) and the park is consistent—level spots, park kept tidy, friendly staff. Great access to all areas in Lubbock. Lots of new restaurants/stores nearby—even had groceries and dinner delivered to the trailer during the pandemic. The park is dry (lots of dirt) and there are some trees, but this is typical of Lubbock. It’s hard to keep plants alive there.

Location was very important to us - we needed to be close to Texas Tech as we were attending a basketball game. Check in guy was very nice and friendly, and our concrete site was level. Electric hookup was very close to the ground and we had to struggle to get our surge suppressor to plug in but we finally did. Some electric boxes are higher, so keep that in mind - it was too much trouble for us to move so we made do but will choose a different site next time. Highway noise is pretty bad here, even at 11:30 pm. No cable hookup but 40 channels on our antenna. Everything was clean and tidy. Easy to get in and out. Lots of full timers, but they were well kept. Will probably stay again because of location, but wish it were further from the busy highway.

“Absolutely Rude ”
noted 2/4/2023
I called at6:01 and they would not take my reservation. I said tell me what spot and I will settle up in the morning. He sternly said we’re closed. I said it’s 6:01 and rudely said “and we close at 6:00”
