On Thursday we returned to our site around 5, and heard “music “ from farther up the loop until at least 9 PM. Someone must have spoken to them because all was quiet the rest of our stay.
Generator hours 9-11 AM and 5-9 PM did not appear to be strictly enforced, but didn’t bother us.
We did not see any NY Park Police patrols during our stay, but park personnel drove by on their carts often.
There are 2 bath houses with showers. The newer bath house has individual bathrooms with toilet, sink, shower. It also has laundry facilities.
The older bath house near us was adequate.
Trash and recycling bins are immediately on your right past the toll booth.
The toll booth sells ice and wood, along with some other items.
Fresh water is on your right near the playground, and at other faucets throughout the park.
The non-electric sites are on or close to the water, and virtually all sites have some view of the water.
Geese frequent the park.
There is one dump station with rinse faucet. Bring your own rinse hose.
It’s easy to walk the entire park, and everyone was friendly.
I enjoyed sitting on the water in the morning and watching the wildlife.
We will stay again.

This campground is part of the Long Point State Park, a long spit on the shore of Lake Ontario. Part of the Thousand Islands. The campground has some of the best amenities we have seen in a state park. Personal toilet, shower& sink are contained within separate rooms within the amenity block, perfect for couples and young families. They are new construction with plenty of room.
The park offers flat, grassy sites, all with fire rings & picnic tables. Not to many trees so privacy is minimal. Most sites are pull through, most with hook ups. The camp office sells ice and firewood. The campground has its own boat ramp and dock. You can easily launch kayaks right from your campsite. It can get quite windy on the point so take a wind break or shelter.
Minimal phone reception at this one and they welcome furry friends!

Fantastic spot. Waterfront site with direct access for swimming. Sites are spaced well considering it’s a small area. Partial shade. Nice breeze. Great playground.

We experienced only two problems: one was a loud party. The rangers or hosts (not sure which) stepped up and things were immediately more quiet. The second problem is more problematic: goose droppings seem to be everywhere. You have to step lively just about everywhere you go.
If you need to pick up serious food, better do so in Watertown. The only close stores (and they're not that close) are convenience oriented.
