Overview of Long Pine SRA Campground
Long Pine State Recreation Area (SRA) offers eight camping pads (No Electricity) as well as 21 non-pad basic campsites (No Electricity). Camping is all first-come, first-served and stays are limited to 14 consecutive days in a 30 day period.
Camping at Long Pine SRA requires that campers register their nightly camping fees in the locked box Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each Iron Ranger station with camping information signs to guide campers with the self-registration process (Check or cash only).

Overall Rating
Nice area for Oct. Road noise from US 20 and local town road. really nice stream looked like some fisherman. Two campers in sites for the night. longest looks like 45 ft most are shorter and several spots are not level.
Lots of tent camping and trails with equestrian use available. Most sites have shelters mostly roofs for picnic area.
Verizon service at bottom (approx 100-150 ft lower than entrance) is 3-5 bars with 5 bars at the top of the camping area. Two different vault toilets with one at mid level and the other in the lower area but both fairly close together.
Could get really busy in the summer.
