Great location close to Grand Canyon national Park. Easy access road with around a dozen campsites that will fit almost any rig. Not very busy on the weekdays.

I spoke to a local and he told me about a road across long Jim loop. Saw a family of five elk grazing…

This is a great spot. It is a well maintained gravel road coming in. We are a35’ class A and had our choice of spots. Close to the park entrance. Potable water and dump station available just inside the park. AT&T cell service is good, internet is a little slow, but reliable.

I work from the road and didn't have any issues working from here. I did use a weboost. I think you would be fine without it.

East access just north of town of Tusayan and about a mile from entrance to Grand Canyon. Many sites available - but several of the larger ones taken by tents. Some of the turnoffs from the main toad have a pretty steep drop off and some sites are a bit bumpy. High clearance rigs didn’t seem to have any issues. I have very low clearance on my 28’ airstream but was able to find a spot. It is a drive through site with good sun until about 2pm (solar panels fully charge) then the shade of the pine trees for the rest of the hot afternoon. Evenings were cold: 28-40 degrees, so I ran the generator for a couple hours each evening to make sure my furnace would run through the night. All sites are next to a well travelled dirt road so dust is unavoidable. A bit windy at times - only used the awning on calm days (maybe 2-3 times). Proximity to town is great! Could be walking distance, but I drove. Paved Bike trail to GC runs right through the camping area. Plenty of options for meals in town. Laundry and showers are closed in GC, but was able to buy tokens to use shower at GC Camping Resort in Tusayan and use their laundry facility. Free Dump station and fresh water available at GC campground. Lots of dumpsters around town to dispose of trash. Pretty quiet at night - the occasional car driving down the dirt road.

For clarification purposes, Long Jim Loop Road is just that, a loop. The road is marked with a sign at the south end of the loop "Local Access Only." Just continue north on Hwy 64 to the northern entrance. When you turn on this road you will see the Forest Service sign stating a 14 day stay limit. We loved this area for the convenience to the park. You are literally only about a mile and a half from the south entrance gate. It was extremely windy several of the days we were here, with gusts to 40 mph or so. It was also VERY dusty, especially with the gusts. The paved bicycle path goes from in the dispersed camping area right into the park, about 6-7 miles to get to the Village. Cyclists should have a Parks pass to enter the park, but you will not need to use it or go through an entry gate on your bike. Solar can be difficult in some areas due to tall trees. There is room for many rigs, but a lot of the areas suitable for bigger rigs were taken by smaller setups.

Beautiful, near town, 7 miles to the cayon. We stayed early February. We were able to work, hold teams meetings, and connect to VPN. Boondocking gold. If this site doesn't work or is full there are other fire roads prior to this site.
