We stayed here to prolong our visit to Yellowstone National Park. When we drove into the campground we were greeted by the camp host. We needed three sites as we had three campers. He was very friendly and helpful. He was very accommodating and had three sites we could get on first come first serve.

One of the sites had electric and the other two had no hookups. There were several potable water stations around the campground but you need a water hitchhiker to connect to them. At the main entrance there was a threaded faucet so you could hook to it and fill your holding tank before going into the campground.

Our fifth wheel is almost 41 feet long and we got it into site number 12 with little room to spare. But we enjoyed our stay here.

“Very close to Yellowstone. Not as crowded. On the beach!”

After discovering that EVERY campsite in Yellowstone was filled before noon in June, my family decided to venture west of the park. We're so glad we did. Because we found this gem. We camped on a sight that met the beach. We could stargaze from the sand at night! These sites are reasonably spaced - way more room than in Yellowstone. I would absolutely stay here again because it's only about 15 minutes drive from the park entrance and WAY less crowded.
