About a dozen campers here - host was nice.
* Host had a dog run out and great me (off leash) - my dog (from inside the bus) was reacting. I explained my dog was a little dominant. He said his was the same - needed to assert dominance but played nicely.
Returning to bus, their dog followed me a bit - the wife came out and I stopped - waiting for their dog to go back to them - and my dog settle - she said “He’s a service dog” - and sure enough it had a faded Service Dog best. But this was no service dog - at best it was an emotional support dog. A service dog would not be running over to people and follow other people. Nor would it be dominating or reactive to other dogs. So many people try to pass their dog off as a legitimate Service Dog - and that is not right.
All pets are pretty much emotional support animals, but not a service dog - with specific training to help someone. Shame.
Other than that, nice place - areas of trash were sad to see. I wish people would take their trash out with them.

Stunning place, too bad the power lines obstructed the epic view. We even saw a herd of wild burrows here. Really kind people, very clean.

I don't know if you need to sign in anywhere, as we did not, the site host waved as we past. The stay limit is 14 days. I have spent my time here walking, collecting rocks, and doing some light hiking.
This is an excellent location to stay and head into Lake Havasu City.
Even with the wind blowing at 12 mph there isn't any dust. I'd recommend if you're going to be walking or hiking to have appropriate hiking shoes as it is very rocky and the sloops are steep, but worth doing.

A dozen others came while we were there for the night, and there is an overflow lot on the left if your rig can handle minor off roading and a slope downward to that lot. Our tiny house can’t do anything too crazy, but we made it in and to a rather level spot for the night, and we were able to pull out in the morning without any issues. There was a small party with a big bonfire going throuout the evening and into the early morning in the upper part of the lot. The beautiful sunset and sunrise made up for the fact that we collected a few handlfulls of glass near our rig once we got there and setup. All and all good place for a stop on your way through.

We had strong winds that were rocking out pop up camper. We planned on just passing through and spent only one night. Arrived at sunset and about 20 other campers, cars and RVs, but plenty of space.
Close to the Lake, California, Oatman, and freeways.
Gravel everywhere and lots of fire pits set up from previous people, some with wood.
We did hear some generator noise, but they all turned off around 9pm.
Waking up is beautiful desert views with mountains!
As a side note, Oatman is really a fun old west town and has wild burros all over the place.

We could hear a lot of generator noise from our site so would not have enjoyed being any closer to the main camping area.
It's conveniently close to highway 95, but not close enough to be bothered by road traffic noise.

We had a great time camping at Lone Tree BLM. Easy access to Lake Havasu City. Great bike riding in town, fun Spring Break atmosphere. While in town, we kayaked to California, LOL. Just across the lake at a narrow spot. We also did a fun day trip up Route 66 to the small town of Oatman, AZ.
