People do but some are loud and obnoxious. It is very close quarters so pls be respectful of noise.

I do not know if there is an official rule against it, but I think your neighbors would prefer you didn't. Do you need it? I only ask because once we got some solar panels and really thought about our usage, we have been able to go up to 3 weeks without hooking up, we do not even take the generator on trips anymore. If you do, I think there are hookup campgrounds in the area also.
