Booked a FHU site which including fees was $46/night. Love staying in state parks, the surroundings are usually beautiful and this was a lovely place. There's great access to the beach, along with about multiple beach areas. We saw people parking on the beach itself, but we wanted hookups so didn't try this. All the campgrounds are off the lake so the views were good all over. Quiet and peaceful, lots of trees. Enjoyed our stay overall.
The electric and sewer hookups were right off the gravel pads, but the water was a bit far away. We needed to use 2 hoses, so roughly needed 75 ft. Our site was plenty big enough for our 5th wheel and truck. The check-in kiosk wasn't open when we passed through but a camp host stopped by later. Each site has a picnic table and grill.
There's a small town nearby and some larger stores near I-80, but we just picked up a few things on the way and stayed around the campground and also walked on the beach.

So, it's off season so I payed $32/night instead of the seasonal rate of $37. There was no water turned on because it was off-season and nowhere convenient to get fresh water. Luckily I arrived with a full fresh water tank which I made last the 5 nights I was here. Each site has easy access to power/sewer, but access to water, even if it was on, is oddly spaced/shared between sites so bring a splitter and a long fresh water hose.
I was literally the only RV here at Lone Eagle the entire week and it was heavenly. So quiet and peaceful with incredible views of the lake. I hope to come back again.
I purchased a week of wifi for $17 and worked ok for my internet and video meetings although I would bet there are bandwidth issues when there are more people here.

If you are a boondocker you can literally set up just about anywhere from the beach to anyplace on the grass. There is water and dump stations all over.
The beach is ALL SAND so it’s sort of ocean like. There are tractors that will pull your rig on and off the sand for cheap.

Nice campground on A lake. Full hookups. Level sites most with trees. Kind of off the beaten path away from the rest of the campgrounds in the area. Cell service but no TV.
