We were tired and paid for spot but due to bug overwhelming us, we decided to drive to Lee Creek a few miles up the road. Lots of shade at Lolo but it was tight and the bugs were too much.

Paved roads, paved sites, 1/2 were pull throughs, trash, pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, lots of privacy, camp host, day use area, water, first come first served, road noise not too bad, especially on the upper side of the loop.
A lot of people we just in and out for one night. All but the tent sites filled for the night midweek. We traveled here in a camper, but we think we could have come in here with our 38’ 5th wheel. It felt tight but corners seemed wide enough. Almost all sites could accommodate a long rig. A couple of branches did softly touched our 13’ high camper.

Pretty nice campground in the trees. I was there mid week in June and got like the last spot. Mosquitoes were pretty bad. Guy next to me had a crazy smokey campfire that smoked out my spot. Noisy people playing a music a few spots down. Can also hear cars on highway. Kind of chilly because you are in a thick forest. I prefer more open campgrounds. I got no cell phone with t-mobile. I suspect this place is not in range for any cell provider.

What a great place to stay! This is a dry camping location. It's not too far off the road so if you can get a spot after site #11 you will hear less road noise. What a great place to stay! This is a dry camping location. It's not too far off the road so if you can get a spot after site #11 you will hear less road noise. You will be crossing a narrow bridge on the way in to the campgrounds. I don't recommend any trailers over 30 ft. Our is 25 ft. and it was tight around a couple of the corners. We stayed in campsite #13, it was one of the larger ones and it was nice. Each spot has a picnic area with a table, fire pit and tent area if needed. They are all pretty private with bushes and heavily wooded surroundings. Its so pretty! There is water available in a few areas, but no threaded spouts to fill you trailer with a hose. There are two vault toilets in the campgrounds and then another on the other side of the narrow bridge in the day parking area. There are hiking trails around the area. We didn't go and check them out since it was raining most of the time we were there. There are a couple of creeks that are next to some of the campsites. Those are really pretty, but they do attract a lot of mosquitos. I'd bring some spray, you will need. it. There is no cell service at all. There is a gas station about 9 miles away and we got 2 bars of Verizon there.

“Closed!”
noted 10/3/2022
Arrived late on the evening only to find it was closed. Ended up sleeping in the car at the camp entrance. The good part was there was still an open bathroom.
