Camp here.
There are no official mtb trails right here however we mountain biked down the road from the outhouse. It was incredible views and I recommend it worth your while.
The mountain bike trails specific are closer to Highway 15, the main freeway.
The one spot we parked at before was covered in broken glass this time so we parked just off highway 169 instead.

Trying to get into nature to hear nature and all you could hear was the constant buzz of UTV's and motorcycles. Not calming at all. If your point is to off ride with these things then it's perfect. Valley of Fire state park has amazing views and would have likely been better. We left right away.

There are a couple of dirt lots before you make it to the lot at the end with the bathroom (this lot is pretty small). There was plenty of space and even a few fire pits scattered around. The ground is pretty rocky and bumpy so not the most ideal for a tent, but with my sleeping pad, i slept just fine! It was nice to wake up here because you could see some pretty views of the surrounding area and could even see quite a lot of stars at night. The road to get in was a little bumpy, but should be doable for most cars.

If you are staying down in the bottom of the hill, cell reception is very spotty and limited but it’s pretty easy to get to the top of the hill and get reception. I like it because it takes me off grid a little more but easy to check in a couple times a day to make sure the world isn’t falling apart.

We drove farther down to the concrete pad with bathrooms. They were not open because of Covid. There were several rigs set up out in the area. The road continued past where we stopped but we had a perfectly good spot. There were LOTS of atvs riding in the area. Very very loud and annoying. Normally we would be used to this but we were tired and had driven a long way and were ready for sleep. It seemed the noise didn’t subside until about 10 pm. Overall good site. Probably wouldn’t stop here if you can’t handle the noise. I would stay here again if I wasn't in such desperate need of sleep.

Stayed here for one night prior to going to Valley of Fire State Park. Long bumpy road, but easy to find. Not a whole ton of spots available, but had no problem arriving late. Beautiful Views. Looks like they’re working on putting in drop toilets for future use.

This area has a few spots in a parking area at the coordinates and some unlevel open area. Lovely area. Also a large, flattish lot about a mile before without the views, which is where we stayed because we generally take the first place we find. This area is ATV/OHV central during daylight hours. Never bothered us, but dozens of trucks with trailers are parked everywhere with vehicles zoning around. All gone by night and it is very quiet unless someone is running a generator.
Seems like trash pickup is reduced during COVID and the bins fill to overflowing. Bathrooms currently closed.
Cell service in the whole area is generally bad. Seems like both VZ and T-Mobile have massively overloaded towers here that were largely unusable for most daylight hours even though the connection to the tower is strong.

Red sand but for enough for vehicle and gear trailer. Lots of places for kids to explore. You lose cell service driving from the main parking area down onto the 4WD areas where the secluded sites are. Could get service (Verizon) by walking a few hundred feet from camp. No water. Fire pit. Picnic table. Would love to return for longer to enjoy the views, the seclusion, the 4WD roads, etc. Prior campers left quite a bit of trash. Very quiet. Heard owls at night.

What a pleasant surprise! We arrived at the coordinates on a Monday afternoon and quickly met some very nice and friendly people who were happy to have us camp next to them at the staging area/campsite at the coordinates provided. With our 40' 5th wheel, we didn't want to drive down the steep, deteriorating asphalt road which takes you to a multitude of boondocking sites on the valley floor along the OHV trail system. After riding our ATVs around the area for over a week, we were amazed at the number of large rigs that did drive down the steep, deteriorating asphalt road and found some incredible secluded campsites. We had cell service, but most of those campers reported they had no cell service at their location. We met a number of good people and made some good friends during our week of diverse and plentiful riding, sightseeing and exploring this incredible area. Being from Colorado, we are familiar with red rocks like those found here, but the magnitude, size, and amount of rock formations here are many times more than Colorado's best! Make sure to visit the Valley of Fire State Park, which is about 30 minutes away and hike a few of the more popular trails. Petroglyphs are also viewable at both Logandale and at Valley of Fire State Park.
The bathroom was locked with covid as the excuse.
