This is a "city" park (for a town of 550, it was rather creepy how dead this town was during our visit) with disc golf, river access, a playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, and RV sites. The RV part of the park was very poorly designed. There are two sections of sites - one in an open field, and one in the woods. We chose the open section so we could use Starlink. The open section sites are arranged so that each site backs up to another site and the utilities (electric and water only) are both on the same side. Since site 2 was open when we arrived, we were able to pull through instead of having to back in. We got lucky in that the utilities were on the correct side for us, but others that came in during the week had to back in and then had to run their electric and water under their RVs.
You know how you're supposed to turn off the breaker before plugging into the electric stanchion? Well, you can't do that here! There are NO BREAKERS at the stanchions!!!
The dump station is situated in such a way that you either need a really long sewer hose (15 feet at least) or you need to BACK UP your RV to dump (we watched most people using the dump station backing up to gain access).
There are only two restrooms, each with a sink, toilet, and tiny shower stall.
There is a siren in town that blares EVERY NIGHT at 10 PM.
Noisy ATVs ride through the park frequently.
At the time of our stay in the summer of 2024, many of the other sites had RVs set up for long-term stays. Those tenants let their dogs run off leash (one ran at us barking menacingly) and they own loud trucks that leave for work starting at 5 AM.

THere is a box you can drop payment in.. you can reserve and book sites online at at https://littleforkmn.gov/campground..
There are two section..the one up top or near entrance is #1 to 8.. the #9 to 14 are beyond the pit toilet by the basketball courts. Down in the lower section you can get closer to river but undergrowth block any view which is ashame and creates a lot of bug.
There is a tent site, non elec adn boat ramp you can use.
All sites have 50 30 20 amp and water.. the water is 284 TDS and 7 grains hardness scale. and a dumpsite is available up near host and showers included in cost.
Nightly rate are 30 plus fee and tax so figure $33.17 a night.. they do have weekly rates adn monthly (see pictures) Great place to check out the NP and International Falls especially in hot weather,, if not check out Wooden Frog campground to the south ..
drive through video.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXEB3Ra8wwk no sound (:

Called Carrie the camp host day-of and left a message. She responded quickly and said there's plenty of room. Sites are level and long. A few appear to be designed to have a pair of shorter campers back-to-back if necessary. So consider that before setting up. Carrie and her family were super-nice, helpful, and engaging. We stayed in June 2023 with minimal mosquitoes. There's a fire ring in each site. Sites are gravel lanes or grass. There's a boat launch into the river on site, a tennis/basketball court, and a frisbee golf course. There may be more that I just didn't see. Payment is cash only with an "iron ranger." The fire siren does one round at 10pm. Not sure if that's a daily occurrence. We were there Fri/Sat nights. Made me check the weather, though! I guess it's a "go to bed!" alarm for the whole town. Maybe a weekly test for the firefighters.

Nice campground for the price. Our site is approximately 200 ft. from the river. Small frisbee golf course, free firewood and close to town. Shower house is clean. There are also a couple of trails close by.

The allure of this place is simply that it was at the right place, at the right time for us. Otherwise, it’s like a city park–tennis courts, basketball, even a disc golf course–with camping all around.
Price was $15 for a tent site, without electric, but it wasn’t apparent if that meant you could have a normal site and just not use the electric or if you were supposed to just find a grassy patch and setup your tent. In any event, site #6’s electric box didn’t work. A fifth wheel in another area appeared to be plugged in though, and no generators were running. I docked the good folks running the place 1 Star since I paid for electric but didn’t get it, even though we never would have used it anyway.
There are two “types” of spots. Most are all RV Park style close in a large open area right up front, on the road (which sees almost no traffic save the sheriff occasionally driving by or kids on quads). Those would be full sun hot spots.
The second is three or four sites tucked away into trees, with much larger portions of the park allotted to each site, and considerably more shade.
Most sites have a fire ring and picnic table. Ours literally had four.
I would give this place a four if the electric had worked, or if I’d known ahead of time and only paid the iron ranger $15, but largely because it reminds me of a park I used to play in as a kid back home in PA.
Toilet was super nasty. Verizon was great.
