Traveling up to NRVTA in Livingston from Big Bend NP, NM and needed one nights rest before completing this leg of our trip. Found this on Campendium and they had availability for that night with 2 hours drive left for the day.
Very well run COE CG on a large lake. Upon arrival to our site there was a tent set up in it . The person that had stayed the night prior had not left and was a local/regular guest at the CG. Walked over to the gate and the issue was taken care of ASAP - owner was out fishing in his boat, but once he returned 3 hours later, 6 hours after departure time (of course while we were eating dinner), he removed his tent and trash bags. He had thought he had booked for 2 nights. Clearly marked on vehicle sticker it was for one night. Whatever ;) It was all handled very nicely by the hosts/front gate couple. And when we left the next morning they again apologized. No need.
Super quiet after quiet hours came. Group next to us appeared to be locals also. Dog off leash the whole time, big screen set up on back of camper watching some sort of sports on it and a bit noisy, but once that magical hour hit they packed it up.
The dogs loved it because it was the first time in our 2 weeks travel they had access to go swimming! We don't know what cell/internet was at this location as it's not a priority for us when traveling/camping. If TX offered more off grid camping we'd be doing that.
Discount on fee because of being oldies but goodies with NP lifetime oldies pass :)

“Nice to be on the water, but spiders are everywhere”

Stayed at tent site (E35) and it was nice to be only footsteps from the water. We stayed here while it rained, so we didn’t swim but during warmer weather that would have been nice. Our dog enjoyed it though!
I can’t speak for the RV sites, but the tent site was okay overall. It was more rockier than we expected, and there were spiders EVERYWHERE. It was an insane amount, so that’s primarily the reason we won’t be going back. If that doesn’t bother you though, you’ll probably really like it.
