“Group site 2miles from Lake Alpine”

Reviewed 7/10/2017

Nightly rate: $100
Days stayed: 3
Site Number: Group site A
Overall Rating

The campgrounds has 30 overflow first come first serve $25 a night and 2 group sites $100 a night. We stayed at group site A with 20 people 8 off-road vehicles 2 regular cars. The site can accommodate 50 people 20 cars. The entrance is a little rutted so very low vehicles may not like it but should be able to make it in and out. Our site was across from the vault restrooms 1 disabled and 3 standard vaults. Our neighbor experienced a bear trying to get into their cooler in the middle of the night but it never came to our site. The site doesn't have a bear box but really didn't need it as long as food was put away or stored properly. We will definitely stay again.
