Lodgepole flats is kmow for its OAV roads and we enjoyed riding our mountain bikes in the area. The sites here.would be a great basecamp for those with a toy haulers.

The easiest way to reach the sites with a large trailer is to use Forest Road 130 from road 10. At the first large intersection at the pipeline take a right. Follow forest road 160 to the GPS coordinates.

The road in is well maintained gravel and becomes dirt as you approach the sites. There are a few potholes in the immediate area but nothing that requires clearance. The sites can accommodate multiple rigs or toy haulers with some skill.

There was some garbage in the area unfortunately.

We received 3 bars of Verizon 4G in the area.

I just drove all the way from 24 up 10 down 130 to 130 S. Very manageable. Narrow, passing an oncoming vehicle would be hard. I only saw three rigs and one person who was riding a mountain bike. I hope it doesn't get overwhelmed with the weekend warriors who have thoroughly trashed the atmosphere around twin lakes and mount Elbert for bay
