“Great CG with Plenty of Room for Larger Rigs”

Overall Rating
We did not stay here, but drove and walked through from our CG across the highway where we did stay, at Boulder Creek. Lodgepole is a one way CG. If you drive through to check it out and decide you want to stay, you'll need to exit to the highway and circle back and reenter. There are multiple double sites that are $12, but half off with a National Parks Senior Pass. This CG is close to the creek and easy to get to. A lot of the sites have shade, so if you have solar, this may not be the best CG. Close to the road, but not a lot of traffic on the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway when we were there September 18 and 19, 2018.
