I will most likely not stay here again. Sites were very wet in June of 2023. There are lots of mosquitoes and big black flies. There is no water or dump as advertised. No bathrooms as you need running water to flush a toilet. I will say sites 23 to 30 are FCFS. They are great sites too! Res.gov said the campground was packe... more
I will most likely not stay here again. Sites were very wet in June of 2023. There are lots of mosquitoes and big black flies. There is no water or dump as advertised. No bathrooms as you need running water to flush a toilet.
I will say sites 23 to 30 are FCFS. They are great sites too! Res.gov said the campground was packed but it was empty except for a few sites and the FCFS sites were all open.

Last time I was here I saw a bull moose and a bear! This time, just a couple of deer. Fairly private campsites but even during the week a very popular park. Didn't use the toilet facilities. Last time I was here I saw a bull moose and a bear! This time, just a couple of deer. Fairly private campsites but even during the week a very popular park. Didn't use the toilet facilities. Did use the water, which is slightly brown but apparently drinkable. ;-) Sites paved, mostly back-in, varying in levelness. Mine was only fairly level but good enough. Trees mostly quaking aspens so not very shady. Hosts on site and cg seemed clean and well managed.
Verizon 1x signal wavered between one and three bars. Could get online much of the time [albeit slowly] but couldn't open any files.
