Decent site. Got in about 5pm on Thursday, 25 April, 2019 and was told by host the camp is pretty much full on the weekend so I could only stay the one night. Host said check back with her at 12pm next day if I wanted to “try getting another night.” Whatever. Don’t know if they take reservations here. Anyway... my site 39 was right on the river and that was nice. Breeze blowing the whole time there. Shower was good. Hot water and the bathrooms were pretty clean. Well maintained camp site.

“Nicely done COE campground ”

Some winding narrow roads with some steep hills to get into the campground but are quite doable just take it slow. Quite a bit more traffic on Rt. 12 then we were anticipating but nothing heavy. A steep hill right into the grounds, but nicely paved and plenty wide.
Sites are very large and decently spaced. Many overlooking the river. The side pad at our site was huge, 40x40 and then the parking space for the trailer! A bit of a drive on a winding road to get anywhere but the spaciousness and quiet are worth it.
