My dog and I stayed overnight at Lock24 last year. The folks here were warm and friendly; Great halfway spot between North Carolina and Michigan.

Was directed to our site by the manager. All utilities including Wi-Fi and good Verizon service. We have a large level (sloped for drainage) concrete pad overlooking the Ohio River across from the Mountaineer power station.

This is a no frills, but awesome place to stay. Very reasonable. Watching the barges go up the river . Awesome views. Smaller campground . Very dog friendly .Eric and Kristen do a wonderful job.placing you in just the right site .camping on the river is the best.
