Site is gravel. Level side-to-side. Clean. About 5 minutes from the highway.

Plenty of large oaks to camp under- acorns dropping on tin buildings all night - make sure you plan for that - you can hear the traffic noise if your in a tent. Bath house was clean - with odor when wind blew in the site downrange. Couldn’t find any wood around the area but there are fire rings.

Here for a reunion. Never camped here before. Nothing on website or when calling for reservation about where to check in and could not see a site map online. A sign at the entrance says “choose your spot and an attendant will be by”. As you pull in it appears to be a one way loop that you should veer to the right so we did and chose our spot. AFTER that fork in the road there is a VERY small sign at site 4 almost covered by flowers that says “check in”. We chose our spot and hooked up in the rain only to have the attendant come by and tell us our spot was taken already and we were supposed to check in when we got there, completely opposite of the sign posted at the front entrance. We were able to work it out so we didn’t have to move sites but know in advance that check in is at site 4, PAST the fork in the road and they only take cash or check for payments. There should be a ONE DIRECTION sign at the fork in the road. Attendant says everyone should turn right at the fork but there is no sign stating that and we ended up having to go thru the grass between barns due to another RV coming from the wrong direction. Also there should be a garbage at the dump station area but there isn’t. Not sure where they expect everyone to throw their gloves.....? We stayed at site 11 which was marked a bit more clearly after we pointed out how poorly the place was labeled. What normally would be a pull thru site they call a site for two but there’s no way two average size rigs could fit in those spots.
