We staying in site 26, which in our opinion is the nicest one they have. 25 is a very close second. This loop is more secluded than the rest which makes it a bit nicer in our opinion. We were right on the river and enjoyed that. The power is awful though and not consistent. We ended up spending much of our time running on batteries ... more
We staying in site 26, which in our opinion is the nicest one they have. 25 is a very close second. This loop is more secluded than the rest which makes it a bit nicer in our opinion. We were right on the river and enjoyed that.
The power is awful though and not consistent. We ended up spending much of our time running on batteries because the power kept cutting off, even though we were only drawing around 100-200watts, this is from a 20AMP power outlet.
With no sewer, limited power, and virtually no amenities, we wouldn't recommend this campground. We only stayed because it was on the water and close to Mount Washington.

Apparently there is a change in ownership! The entrance to the campsites is not marked! We broke a piece to the end of our awning! They didn’t care about it! There were issues with the power, where we had to disconnect our surge protector in order for our air conditioning to work! This brought up to the management and they refused to t... more
Apparently there is a change in ownership! The entrance to the campsites is not marked! We broke a piece to the end of our awning! They didn’t care about it! There were issues with the power, where we had to disconnect our surge protector in order for our air conditioning to work! This brought up to the management and they refused to to do anything about it! There response was that there was no issue with the power! Bathrooms were not very clean! No internet connection at all! The only way to get internet was to go the pizza place next to the office and it!

Overall Rating
We love this place. The people are great. The place is clean. The site are relatively secluded. We had an eagle fly right by us as we sat and drank our morning coffee next to the river. There is no alcohol so that's a to each there own thing but we like it. Some campgrounds get a little loud in the evening. No cell service though.
