Quiet, well spaced sites. Leveling is an issue on most sites. No water.
Best part is that you are likely to have the place to yourself during the week. 8 sites on the north side of the lake, 1 on the south next to a boat launch. No designated trails but forest undergrowth minimal so wandering easily done.

“Great for quiet camping”

The best part of this campground is that there are very few others that go there! In the 4 days there we only saw 1 other couple on the lake, 1 other camper on the other side, who we never saw or heard again after choosing our site, and 2 cars drove though but didn't stay. The sites are clean, as is the 1 vault toilet. In fact the Ranger came by the day we left to restock tp that was already full. Lots of animal signs and sound including moose coyote and deer-though we only saw the smaller stuff like bunnies squirrel chipmunks frogs and birds. It was extremely relaxing quiet and felt isolated.
The negatives- the lake is best suited for aluminum boats (non motorized only-which added to the relaxed atmosphere) there is very little for shore fishing as it's mostly Marsh. Air inflated raft type boats are risky since there are a lot of branches in the water. Also, this is not a swimming lake since there are lots of leeches in the water. The campsites themselves were mostly all for smaller tents. Our site, 6, was the only one we could actually fit our 4 person tent, outside of the other occupied site on the other side.
