Beautiful lake, reading the reviews they said the lake was dried up. Not the case. Very tranquil.

Another parks checked off teh list at the time. There is a convenient brewery close enough by that made it nice. And we did go to a the Hippy Fair that weekend which had great music. One ting I find is there is no convenient listing of local events within driving distance to the park. There should be a person for the parks that creates lists of events in a one page flyer to post for the Friday-Saturday-Sunday period at every park.

Enjoyed this campground very much. Site was level on hard sand. Most sites are back-in. 25 free stations with antenna. Cell serve seemed to come and go. Bathhouse was not the most modern but everything worked and was clean.
Community area had horseshoes and corn-hole. Office hours are only 1 hour per day but ranger makes the rounds (5:30pm ish) and was very pleasant.
Get your groceries before you get to camp.
As mentioned above the lake is now a meadow due to the loss of the dam during a past hurricane.

Being there in mid April, we almost had the place to ourselves. But the sites are large and well spread out.
If you have a big rig, we highly suggest you drive or walk the road first to make sure you can get through. My husband and his top-notch driving skills got us between the trees on the winding road with no problem.
The camp hosts are the hardest working camp hosts I have ever seen. The campground is spotless.
Verizon worked well, and worked better with my external antenna on my Jetpack. Over the air television was plentiful. And it was a quick 15 minute drive into town for supplies.
This campground is a new favorite. Be sure to walk the hiking trail.

Nice little nature trail, but no other hikes within the campground itself. Water/electric at all sites, dump station and trash at entrance/exit to campground. Pro tip: take a shower here. The showerheads are awesome, the water pressure is great, and the water is HOT. And the bathrooms are clean as a whistle. Sites 8 and 9 have the most privacy, and will have wonderful lake views once it's back.

We loved our stay at Little Pee Dee! It's conveniently located near I-95 in northern South Carolina, but it's far enough away from everything that all you really hear is silence. There is usually a lake, but at the time at that we were there, they had drained it for repair work on the local dam. It's still a beautiful view of the grassy lake bottom. I loved watching the sunrise light it up from our site.
There are 50 campsites, about half of them have electricity hookups. All of them have their own water spigot. There is a dump station and a dumpster located at the entrance to the campground. The roads around the camp sites itself are a little rough, but if you're going slow you hardly notice.
About 15 minutes away are all the conveniences of life—dining options, Walmarts, post office, laundromat, etc. It's a fairly easy drive in the town.
We would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, loved the layout, the convenience, and the ranger and camp hosts were great to talk to!

Sandy sites with 30amp and water offered at some. Dump station available.
Ranger we met was friendly and helpful as well as the campground host. Some great large sites along the lake which we were able to snag one up on a gorgeous weekend. Would definitely come here again.

Situated outside Dillon, SC for easy shopping & errands - this little getaway was just what we needed. Heavy tree cover, private feeling sites along an enchanting little pond. At night, the frogs are a mesmerizing chorus.
A few hiking trails and kayak launch access are just about all there is to do. Even on a busy weekend, the park had a peaceful and chill feel.
