This campground is 30 minutes from the nearest town. As full-timers, that is not my favorite.
Right away they told us the dump station wasn't working - but they were working on it. They got it working again, only to have it not working once everyone left after the holiday weekend. Thank You 'Sanidumps.com !
This site was not easy to back into and once we did, it was the most unlevel site we have ever had to deal with. All part of the learning curve.
Once we settled in, took a breath and absorbed our surroundings, we saw the beauty around us. Also, the sites are very well spaced inbetween. There is a great hike 'Ruedl' (I think).
btw - No cell service! Not saying its good or bad.

Overall Rating
This place is a hidden gem near Ruedi Reservoir. The spaces are well kept with a lot of space in between sites. The bathrooms are super clean and the camp hosts were friendly and helpful! You can walk right down to the res where you can fish or paddle board. We love this place and will continue to come back every year.
