Absolutely beautiful. 4 Sites along the snake river, right past the dam. Major problem, sooooo many ticks. We got there at 9 pm and were outside for about 30 minutes, not in the brush or grasses, sitting by the fire ring. Pulled 12 off the dog. Pulled several off myself and the kids. Went to bed and found one crawling inside the trailer. we planned on staying 2-3 days, but we packed up and left right when we woke up. Two days later and many miles away and I’m still finding them. I don’t know if this is normal for the area or this time of year, but I’ve never experienced anything like it living in Western Washington for 32 years.

“Pretty spot”

Pretty spot, great location for fishing, visiting the dam and Palouse Falls. Windy in the spring, lots of snakes and ticks. But earlier spring and late fall would be great.
