Overall Rating

A small lake, that is not too far out of the way. 3 small camp ground loops, there was everything from 35 foot 5th wheels to tents out here. The road in is good gravel for 3 miles with no clearance issues for big rigs. Some of the spots in the camp ground are not for big rigs but a 25 foot trailer will fit in almost all of them. Some bike trails near by, and the road in leads to to some 4 wheeling as well as to the West you can enter the Wilderness area at a variety of locations only a 3 mile walk from camp. Small boat ramp, 10 mph limit on speed, but you can go over to Big Cultus if you want the resort Summer Rental feel. Lots more camping south of here as well as some free dispersed spots here and there on all the gravel roads. I counted closer to 25 sites total.

I had Verizon with a cell phone booster and got voice and text no problem, checked email, but web surfing was not working too well. With out the booster there will be only limited texting.

Very quite I heard no generators running and it was hot, the only issue is it can get dusty and the road the goes through the campground has some in and out traffic as it leads to further more remote spots. The pit toilets where the cleanest I have ever seen and there is hand pump well water that is very nice to drink.
