However, if your looking for more shade look at the top section, although the sites are closer together. Definitely have levelers. Pavement on sites are not maintained. There is traffic noise, but tolerable. Overall, my stay was great, no issues . I would definitely stay again. Can't beat the $35 a night.

But as for the sites themselves…they are all old pavement and close together. All sites are on a hill so there is no way you will ever be level. We had to use all our blocks and we still weren’t completely level. The electrical boxes are shared between sites, but are far enough away that your wire most likely won’t reach. We had to use an extension cord. Those are the three big issues.
And I of course looked at campendium before booking this campground and others had all the same complaints. The reviews for this campground are definitely true.

Located on the banks of the Red River this was an excellent location to stay for a night to visit our grandson at Concordia Moorhead. The sites were poorly maintained but the campground was clean and quiet.

First spent an hour trying to set up an account while being told repeatedly that captcha didn’t work and to try again. When got captcha to work then could find an available site but couldn’t advance to check out. Very bad web design. Then called on phone during hours they said were open left message but no reply that day. Would have liked to try this campground.

You have to go through neighborhoods to get to this lovely city park, so that part was just a tiny bit stressful, especially with bigger rigs. Check in was easy and friendly, they'll offer you a key to the bathhouse if you need it (we didn't, so I can't review on bathroom or showers). We happened, accidentally, to pick the Most difficult site to back into (site 18). Most are slanted a bit and since they are all on the left side, there are curved paved areas on the right to facilitate backing in easier. Site 18 was barely slanted, it was nearly 90 degrees to the road, and there was no curved area, instead there were 2 trees in the absolute worst 2 positions they could possibly be in. All that to say, we still made it in successfully in under 10 minutes. The spot was beautiful, lots of shade and grass, and we paddle boarded the river for a few hours. Downside is 35 amps, no sewer at sites, and the interstate is Right There so you hear the hum of traffic 24/7.

This is a beautiful park very conveniently located off I-94. Yes, there is road noise, but not that bad. I’m rating it 4/5 because the sites in campground B, the ones along the Red River, are not level - we changed from site 11 to 17 because it was impossible for us to get sufficiently level, and the park staff person was very gracious in allowing us to change sites. The other “downside” is that the sites are pretty close together, but that allows for more of us to get a site! It’s a popular place, so fills up quickly.
There are nice bike paths, secure & clean bathroom/showers (you’re issued a fob to access the showers at registration.) The A sites are more level but also more like a parking lot (mostly big rigs in there) but they’re real close to those showers!
If you’re heading to or through Fargo, it’s a great place to stop. I wish I could give it a 4+ 😊👍

We were in section B. As the other reviews say, section A is tight spots and close to the freeway. We stayed on September 22, and it was very busy. When one RV checked out, another one checked in; yet it was still quiet and peaceful. The view of the river was great.
The showers are clean, modern, and awesome!
Make reservations! We were fortunate to drive in and get a spot. I don’t know if they are always this busy, or if it was just the wonderful fall weather.
For cell phone service, I have three bars of 5G on T-Mobile at the dump station but down to two bars of LTE at my campsite.
