As mentioned in other reviews, the campground is split, close to the lake versus more forested. It is a four mile drive in on a dirt road; dusty in the summer. Mosquitos in abundance through mid July although not as bad as Holland. Boat launch. Lindbergh is not as busy as Holland, also very scenic.

“Additional Camp Sites Work Just As Well”

Stayed here last night because all the sites at Holland Lake were taken. This campground is only a couple miles from all the fun at Holland Lake and Falls. It’s broken into two parts, the main area next to the lake, and then an additional area that’s actually an earlier turn in on the road. Both areas were primitive I believe.
The additional sites all seemed to be surrounded in dense woods, which was awesome. Made for a quiet, enjoyable sleep.
The dirt road in from the highway is a good place to see a lot of deer.
At $0 a night, this was a great overnight spot.
Bring your mosquito spray though...
