Sites are best if you are smaller to get your rig level. A train came through at 3:30a and woke up our entire family. A few cars drove through after dark pretty fast. Overall, it was a decent stay outside of the train noise and the cars speeding through. Flush toilet available, no showers that I could find. I wonder if they are available during the summer months at the pool, but not sure...

This park has facilities for just about every conceivable past time. There is a pool within walking distance as well as a bar/grill. Town has good shopping. This town only has a population of 3500... Astonishing that they have a park this nice. One downside:. Close to railroad track. Train came thru early morning horn blaring.

Had to stay at the entrance. Other sites were taken. Back in site, sticking out in traffic while I unhooked. Site not level. When we called for electrical they told us they don't do that anymore. Used the generator.
Over all not bad for the price. We stayed 1 night in a travel trailer.

Like sometimes we had some unexpected issues so we arrived to the park around 9 pm. The sites were mad for smaller Rv or vans. They are all on a bad slant it’s impossible to back in and be comfortable. We were greeted by people that you could tell had been “living here” and not just staying the 3 days. They informed us none of the electrical sites work. The park itself is nice and big and well kept however the area where the camping is is overgrown and not kept up at all. It’s obvious the city does not want anyone stayed the 3 days. What I don’t understand, why have a huge sign that says camping here, 3 days max. Yet no electricity and not kept up . Just take it down if it’s no longer available city of wheat land. We ended up staying across in a very bumpy dirt area, I don’t think we are suppose to stay here but it was 9 pm and we were exhausted. The next morning I saw several other rvs and trailers come in and did the same. Looked around, looked frustrated and make a uturn and leave. Gas and time is exspensive so driving all the way here to just to leave is frustrating. If you have a big rig save yourself don’t bother stopping.

7/18/22 - 7/19/22: This is a great little park offered buy the town of Wheatland. But, the power panels were locked on all sites. There is an irrigation creek running directly behind our rig, train tracks nearby and a train just passed, but the noise really wasn't too loud and didn't pose an issue for us. While there is no fee, we'll make a donation to promote the continuation of the park.

The park was nice with large green grass areas and ramadas. Great to walk our dogs.
It's super quiet at night, far enough from I-25 so there was no road noise. There is a train that came by once at night. Otherwise great sleeping!

We ended up here because wife stepped out of coach and turned her ankle straining the ligaments badly (air cast involved). Insurance advised Platte County Memorial was closest in-network hospital. Quick look at Campendium had us staying at this park after her evaluation and the continuation of our trip. Hospital only 4 blocks from the park. The hospital was great too...

We actually stayed on August 20, 2021, and were pleasantly surprised. Nice park directly across from our campsite (only separated by a dirt road) to exercise our furry friend. The first few sites looked like they were electric but were all taken, which was fine with us. We took one of the last sites before the tent sites and were able to find a sweet spot where all four tires were level. Easy peasy. They accept donations and we did donate. Was quiet (except for a few trains, but no biggee). There was a dump and water available too (one water spigot near donation tube was high flow; the other farther down was very low flow. Very nice place. Thank you City of Wheatland!
