when camping at this state park, do you have to pay the additional daily entrance fee in addition to the camping fees? Also, they list a $5 charge for the dump. Do you have to pay that as well, or is it included with camping fee?

Since I got answers all over the place, I’ll answer it myself since I just stayed there July 5, 2023. If you are camping at the state park (even as a non resident) you do not have to pay the daily vehicle fee for the days camped. When we checked in for the cave tour (since we were camping g there) they gave us a pass to put in our car window so we would not be ticketed. Yes, you do need to pay the $5.00 per use to dump your tanks, even if you are camping there.

Yes. $10 daily entrance and $5 to dump. If staying more than 5 days look at getting the Montana parks pass.

Yes. You must pay the additional park fee at the office and the dump fee is a separate charge. If you visit the caverns, that is an additional charge, but well worth it.

The daily fee is included in the camping fee (one of the reasons why the out of state rates are higher) for the days that you are a registered camper. The dump station fee is extra for each use of the dump station. There are free dump options in Butte, Helena, and Bozeman if you will be traveling through those cities and would rather wait.

My recollection you only paid the entrance fee of you want up to caverns. But I could be wrong. The dump was closed when we were there so can't help you with that one either. I will say it was a beautiful camp ground and we enjoyed the cave tour also.

Stayed in September of 2021 and don't recall there being a fee to dump or a park entrance fee. I may have paid entrance fee at the small visitor's center and just not remember. It's a great little campground and the caverns are really cool to go through.

Yes, you will need to pay an additional fee - there's some kind of Montana State park fee. I think it's actually $10/day. If you are going to stay longer than a few days, it's actually cheaper to buy the annual pass (Nonresident Entrance Pass), which is $50 and waives the fee, plus gives you discounted camping. You also will need to pay the dump fee.
