Overall Rating

Previous review says most of it. Update: $25/night for W/E, $30 for full hookups. Plus $5 fee for entrance (one time). Wifi was back up and very good - we got excellent coverage in our site which was just about as far away as we could get.. Only reason for not 5 stars is the water hookups. Most are a 20 - 50 feet away, some ... more

“Excellent State Park”

Staying here in the off season is a wonderful experience, especially in the autumn. This is a very nice state park on a Lake Sakakawea, which is a reservoir that was formed by damming up the Missouri River. The park is located about 3 miles south of the main road. “Very nice state park ... and WOW has THE best WII FI!”

What a nice state park! We came for two nights and stayed two weeks. It's strange driving to the park as you pass many oil rigs but once you are in the park you forget they exist. It's quiet during the week but busy on weekends. Right on the Missouri river with a nice marina and boat ramp. The RV sites aren't on the river but some site... more
