We camped in a 30ft Class C. Wonderful campground with electric at our site. Campground host was very nice and makes rounds to deliver firewood for sale ($5/bundle) Water spigots were available, as well as a dump station and water to fill tanks. All sites were very spacious with trees, campfire rings & picnic tables. Had a playgroun... more

“Spacious sites”

Reviewed Sep 04, 2016

Overall Rating

After staying at crowded RV parks for several weeks while we visited Yellowstone and Glacier, it was a refreshing change to come to this state park and finally have a large site again with plenty of space to spread out and not feel crowded by neighbors. This park is a little on the expensive side for a state park, but I think that's b... more

“Nice open campground - 7 miles from I-90”

Reviewed Aug 10, 2016

Overall Rating

Nice open campground with plenty of sun for the solar panels. Campground is broken up into smaller gravel loops. Gravel is fairly compacted and easy to traverse. There is a mix of back-in sites and pull through sites. This campground offers reservations but we were able to snag a nice site for two nights. Sites have tickets des... more

“Nice Park in Remote Area”

Reviewed Jul 26, 2016

Overall Rating

While I enjoyed my stay, it happened to be quite warm and my site didn't have electricity or any large trees. There were a few in the campground just not my site. I chose not to go into the caverns so I can't review them, however many said they were worth seeing. My site was pretty level. The campground roads and sites were gravel. ... more

“Great spaces, hiking, scenery and caverns”

Reviewed Feb 09, 2016

Overall Rating

We were on a long weekend tent camping across Western MT and decided to bunk in the one room cabins. It was well worth the money (I think we paid about $55) for the cabin in this setting. You could walk to the river (literally across the road) or trek the trails which were very close or drive up to caverns within a few minutes. Well ma... more
