Definitely family oriented with basketball, mini golf, playgrounds and pool. We enjoyed the 1 night stop, clean bathrooms and quiet at night. Some sites look a little tough to get into and water/electric a little far to reach. Glad we moved from i6.

Sites fairly level. Park neat. Close to London, KY. Has a hardscape playground with deep mulch. Basketball court. Only needed power. Got a tent site for under $27. State give to city ~3 years ago. City’s doing well with transition.

I stayed at Levi Jackson SP in London, KY for an overnight, and chose it because it was relatively close to I-75 as I headed from Atlanta to Ohio. The campground was great! It seemed to have activities for families like miniature golf, badminton, hikes, playgrounds, as well as park-directed weekend activities like crafts and a Birds of Prey demonstration.
There was an assortment of campsites; some paved offering full service, some with just water and electric, and a fair number of tent campsites. The majority of sites were located in between a loop road, so while not too tight to one another, you would still be camped in a bit of a “fish bowl” scenario. There were, however, some side sites that seemed much nicer.
I stayed in site 25, largely because it was as remote a site as I could find. It ended up being located close to a well pump, which would go on from time to time. The noise didn’t bother me at all, but I could understand why it would be bothersome to others. My site was close a field that was just beautiful – saw deer coming through, and very private.
If you are traveling with a group or rally, there are a number of covered pavilions for group meals.
