“Quiet, tree covered sites along the river”

During the week you almost have the campground to yourself, More activity on the weekends — first come first serve — self register — no showers, flush toilet, public water, nearby dump station (no flush water there)—large sites with 30/50 amp service — level sites
NOTE: closing 9/28/2020 for season to add more RV sites and upgrade electric in time for spring 2021 opening!

“Shaded Campground next to the Raccoon River.”

Overall Rating

Pleasant shaded campground on the Raccoon River. The campground is just a few block south of the highway - look for the signs. The campground is next to the site where an old mill once stood. We had plenty of water flowing over the damn. The noise level was negligible while we were there. The sites are not crowded and there are electrical hookups. Community water spigot. Vault toilet. There is no dump station at the park but one is available a couple of blocks east, near the town maintenance area.
