Just an overnight stay. Enjoyed the amazing sunset at LeFleur's Bluff SP, Jackson, Mississippi. Camp sites are large and well spaced, ours was lakefront with w/e. Only 30 sites. Primitive camping also available. The bathhouse is average, clean and has laundry too, $1.75. Some bike trails, fishing, playground. Gate code required. Camp road very rough.
It's close to I20, Natural Science and Children's Museums, downtown Jackson, golf, discover golf. Shell gas station at park entrance. Sol and Mookies pizza and Ice Cream close by. Good NY style 😋🍕
Warning- the interstates are in horrible condition. Rough road with potholes that could swallow our trailers 😱

On I-20 passing through Jackson - prefer state parks over RV resorts anyway- happy to get #1 spot, lakeside, we have a 45’ Class A plus toad. Verizon has 3 bars LTE. Only wish? That each spot had sewer connect instead of having to drive to the park dump station. Not bad for about $30 though!

This park is literally right in the city but you would NEVER know it! The staff is very kind and helpful and the park is very clean. We stopped here just for the night but will definitely come back when we can stay longer!

This was a nice campground where we found a peaceful overnight. The road into the park referenced in earlier reviews wasn’t that bad. They have attempted to even out the rough spots but we had no trouble with our 25 ft motorhome. This state park is close to many restaurants and shops for any needs you may have. This is a quiet lake quite near to the city but with only occasional aircraft noise that we didn’t find bothersome. Many lots are right on the water and you might ask for such a site if available. We loved the concrete parking pads as we don’t have automatic levelers - we were spot on level! There was good lot spacing at our location of Lot 12. We saw a number of egrets on the lake. There are lots of bare spots - some grass would be nice but I would call this a nice campground and we would stay here again. Each site has a sturdy, fixed place picnic table on a slab, a fire ring and barbecue stand plus a handy hanging pole sturdy enough for about anything you might want to hang. 4 star. Glad we found it. There is a big bathhouse with laundry in the center of each camping area.

Lots of fishing going on, but I just enjoyed the view.
Only about 10 minutes off of I-20.
One washer and dryer on the 2nd floor of the bathhouse. There is a ramp and stairs to the 2nd floor. Bathrooms are also upstairs. Clean but stuffy and hot. Only one working toilet in the women’s room. 3 showers but one has no door.
Will stay again. $27 on Thursday, 9/22/2022.

Let me start with the warning first. It is July 9th, 2022. They have water hookups at this park but the first thing we saw when we pulled up to the gate was a boil water warning sign. We've had these reservations for over a month but no email, no phone call, and nothing posted on their website about this. The gatekeeper was friendly but the extent of her knowledge of the issue was that the water is "cloudy". Naturally we didn't bring enough water because we thought we would have access to clean water. And no, we were not going to rely on our water filter to keep our tanks from being contaminated.
Road in from the gate is about a mile of pothole, dirt and concrete with low hanging branches. Take it slow and if your rig is tall, be careful. Sites are very nice and sit on the lake. Daytime noise from the day use area.

My prepaid reservation was refunded in the form of a voucher that was usable at any Mississippi state park. Using that voucher, we were able to book a stay at Roosevelt SP for the required dates. Staff at Roosevelt said that such flooding at Lafleur's Bluff is quite common.
