“Awesome location between the Vermilion Cliffs and the Colorado River.”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lee’s Ferry. The campground is all first come/first served and spots turn over frequently. The campground also completely filled up nearly every day during our stay, so arriving as early as possible is a really good idea. The campground is situated on a hill between the Vermilion Cliffs and the Col... more

We give five stars because of... the easy self-pay-mode, the very clean restrooms, the low price, the helpful host AND the amazing and peaceful surrounding.

“Surroundings interesting, campground a bit barren”

Reviewed Feb 16, 2019

I stayed one night at Lees Ferry in the autumn. The campground was almost full. There is no vegetation between sites but there are sheltered picnic tables for each site. Due to the exposed location it can get quite windy. It was a little noisy when I was there with campers pulling in, driving around and setting up late into the night.... more

This was a nice stopover. We stayed two nights in mid-April 2018. We paid $20/night with the National Park pass. If you have the senior pass it is $10/night. No issues finding the campground and the road in was paved. There were only a few spots that would fit our rig (30’), but we didn’t have any trouble getting one. Most of the... more

Flush toilets, water, friendly host & great views make it worthwhile. This is the stayover for many folks prior to their exciting Colorado rafting adventure. Check them out at the nearby river landing. Also suggest a walk to the historic Lonesome Dell Ranch up the Paria river. Lovely orchards you can pick during season.

“Stunning setting for a simple campground”

We loved our stay here and would definitely go back. The scenery of the river is lovely and the red rock canyon alongside the river is very photographic. In November, when we were there, the weather was a little uncertain. We had huge black clouds heading in our direction, which made for fantastic photographs, but left us feeling a ... more

Great overnight spot. Easy access from road, Beautiful views of the river and cliffs, and a great spot to view the stars. Flushing toilets, picnic tables, grills and flat spots for camping.
There was little-to-no privacy between sites, and bathroom facilities were a bit neglected. otherwise a jem!
