What is the most popular time of year to visit Lees Ferry Campground?

Actually, I am trying to figure out how early I need to get to the Lee's Ferry campground in order to get an RV spot. There aren't too many other options in this area to find a spot.

We were there in May of 2015. Nice weather and there were lots of rafters hitting the river nearby.
