We came up to Vermont in early April to see the eclipse and had only one Campground open which had no dump (Hancock in the White Mountain National Forest). Every place else was closed until May.

Cons: the price is crazy, they know it, and getting it paid for is crazy, they know it, but they say change may be on the way.

Pros: In the meantime, from Dan who answered our questions on the phone to Travis who came out to get us situated and offered us the opportunity to get potable water, just a great group of people. Professional, kind and informative.

You have to get a permit from city hall. It's off an open square. You may be able to get down there with a rig. We weren't that brave and went with just the truck. When you get the receipt, you can go to the treatment plant. Head for the green office/house building. The dump area is right off the pavement, in the clear and a relatively level site with just a little incline on the hose into the dump.

They may be adding a water spigot and online payment🤞. As for price, I've spent worse at Wendy's for some crappy burgers.

Thanks Lebanon! You came thru in a pinch.
