Drive in on Chumstick hwy can be vomit-inducing with a few very tight turns for big rigs. Feels like driving into Leavenworth is a chore. Power was out for almost every full-hookup site, and the ones that had power were under the threat of power being turned off for maintenance any day. We moved to the other side of the park after one day, no full hookups, but had 30-amp and water. After a few days the water was disconnected due to freezing, they have a water refill station near the entrance.

Stayed for one week. Park was not big friendly. Cutoff tree stumps covered by brush at the beginning of sites. Electric was going on and off even for 30 amps. Was told repairs were in the near future. Park was scenic and loaded with trails. Staff was friendly. Roads were very dusty

I hate to be negative, but while this Park has great potential, this review is very much like those written years ago. Same problems have been identified but no improvement that I can see.
THE POSITIVE: This facility had a large well-kept pool, but closed due to the COVID virus. Walking Trails were plentiful, some of the facilities were fairly recently built but closed. I am glad the campground was open as many things are still closed due to COVID. The staff is friendly and helpful at the front and on the phone. There are many things to do nearby, including visiting Leavenworth itself.
THE NEGATIVE: Sites are very close and dusty due to the quality of the gravel road. Traffic here is high. Yes after several years, some sites still have signs stating the electrical is broken. Water fixtures pouring water on to the ground labeled that they are scheduled to be repaired, but leaking since I got here. When I say"leaked" it was more of a stream of water. Seldom did you see staff out in the park monitoring anything? Many sites are unusable due to size and shape, poorly graded or trees in the way. Sites are mostly dirt. I'll stop there.
I would stay here again only because I didn't pay $67 a night. I don't think it's worth that much money, but during the summer you'll need to reserve early! Am I being negative? I hope not. Just realistic.

This was the first place we stayed once we started traveling full time and it was also the first time we used our Thousand Trails membership.
We were there in the off season, and got their late. Being new to this life on the road and new to Thousand Trails we were thrown off by the find your own site policy of Thousand Trails, and at the time they had a number of sites closed due to power and / or water problems. So it started off rather frustrating.
However once we were settled in we fully enjoyed it. It felt very secluded and private.
The drive to Leavenworth was about 20 - 30 minutes, which didn't bother us a bit. It was nice to spend the day in Leavenworth and then drive home and relax out in the woods. It is also very close to Plain, WA which has a great little store and Lake Wenatchee which we thoroughly loved.
I made note that I had 4 bars of cell there, but did not make note of whether that was Verizon or AT&T and whether or not that was using the booster. So I know we did get cell coverage, but can't share much more then that.
[Actual stay was 5/3/15]

This is one of the best Thousand Trails properties we've visited. Our site was large. We had 2 bars of Verizon service. Sites can get dusty due to gravel roads. The town of Plain is less than 5 miles away and has a small grocery store and breakfast spot. We didn't mind the 18 mile drive to Leavenworth.

The downsides to this park and other also many other Thousand Trails we have been to this summer:
-Dusty
-Many people ignoring the 5mph speed limit and dusting your site
-Lack of maintance
-Narrow sites and odd layouts
-Limited sewer sites
-We like the Meadow View sites but many of the best sites were leased out
