Leake County Water Park

We needed a break after a lot of hectic travel, and this was the place for two nights. One long loop with back-in concrete pads. The sites are not too close, even though the park was full. With a lot of green space in the middle of the loop it did not feel too crowded. Large trees provide shade. The site was long enough and not hard to level. The entrance off of State Hwy 25 on Utah Road was fine, but there is an almost 180 degree turn onto the park road. Not sure how a large rig would handle the turn, but our 29 foot trailer made it without trouble. The park entrance road has a lot of patched holes, take it easy.

This is a gorgeous campground with lots of residents. The monthly rate is 310. It is immaculately maintained. There is laundry, boiling showers, a pool, a boat ramp,, and very nice views of the water. My only complaint was the bad cell service. I did get a signal by the boat a quarter mile away.. A guy told me that he had cricket and it worked. There is only one road in and out of this campground. I am only giving 4 stars because of cell signal.
